A quick update from my phone and if you know me, you know I hate these stupid phones. If you were tracking us, you will see it shows us south of Paducah. That is not correct, as with all electronic devices they require power and in this case I was using super duper rechargeable batteries which should have lasted for days, but they didn't.
We met our first day goals and continued on the route for day 02. We got to Van Buren, MO and decided to get a place for the night. But there are no rooms to be had anywhere so we had to continue on. We spotted a motel called "Lucky" motel and desperate we are we checked and they had a room. I slept in worse. So we are currently west of Van Buren, MO. Mileage for today is around 630, I will know better when we get back to gje motel from supper.
